Joint Face to Face Interoperability Testing Event with IMS AG, Tel-Aviv, Israel
Thanks to sponsor, RADVISION for hosting the live test event with 8 member companies participating including Dilithium Networks, Ericsson, Motorola, NMS, Nokia, Packet Video, RADVISION, and SonyEricsson. Members tested prototypes and implementations of 3G-324M handsets, protocol stacks, gateways, and testing equipment successfully in a live UMTS network. Testing focused on call setup time reduction solutions, such as MONA (H.324 Annex K) and WNSRP. Companies were also able to perform video logical channel conflicting handling tests and some tests on H.264 video codec and AMR-WB audio codec were conducted successfully.

Face to Face Interoperability Testing Event in Lannion, France
A face to face combined Activity Group Interoperability Testing event was held in Lannion, France. The event was hosted by France Telecom and included member company participants from the 3G-324M, PSS, SIP and Conferencing Activity Groups. |

Event in Lund, Sweden
Thanks to sponsor, Ericsson for hosting the live test event with over
10 active members in the 3G-324M participating. Members tested prototypes
and implementations of 3G-324 related products including handsets, protocol
stacks, gateways and testing equipment. A live UTMS network was used
during testing.
In addition to standard testing suites, the group also included the
ITU-T approved MONA and 3G-324M Annex K as part of the testing activities.
The test suites and ITU-T standards are key to enabling the industry
to commercialize 3G-324M products and services. |

prototypes and implementations of 3G-324M handsets, protocol stacks,
gateways, and testing equipment successfully in a live UMTS network.
Testing focused on call setup time reduction solutions, with all companies
finishing WNSRP testing successfully and several Fast Media implementations
undergoing initial testing. Companies were also able to perform video
logical channel conflicting handling tests and some initial tests on
H.264 video codec were conducted successfully.
