What We Do
Perform and document well planned and controlled rigorous interoperability
tests.
Perform interoperability tests for Packet-Switched Streaming Services
according to technical specifications from 3GPP (TS 26.233, TS 26.234,
and TS 26.244) and 3GPP2 (C.P0046 and C.S0050). Testing scope covers the
creation, delivery, and playback/consumption of multimedia content over
wireless networks.
Plan, execute, and track rigorous interoperability tests for the benefit
of participating member companies.
Provide feedback to 3GPP, 3GPP2 and other SDO's so that the lessons learned
through testing can be applied to improve the relevant standards.

Accomplishments
The success of the PSS AG enables launching PSS services, which are widely
used and deployed in commercial services today.
The PSS AG has tested the 3GPP PSS specifications from release 4 to release
6. Today, the testing procedures and the collaboration of this group has
reached 96% success rate testing of 3GPP release 5. This success has increased
the group to 30 member companies participating in tests. The PSS AG has
a liaison relationship with 3GPP, and several liaisons were posted with
100% acceptance by the 3GPP SA#4 work group.
How We Work Together

to technical questions.
- Weekly conference calls to review testing status and technical issues.
- An advanced web tracking tool based on test documents manages test
results and provides this information in report format directly to the
relevant engineer.
- To participate your company must be an IMTC member in good standing
and a developer of one of the following; streaming servers, content
distribution servers, content creation tools, or multimedia terminals.
