Intellectual property rights are granted to individuals and over the creations of their minds. They usually give the creator an exclusive right over the use of his/her creation for a certain period of time.
In IPR group, we establish standards that are compatible with, or that utilize their technology protected by Intellectual Property Rights. Any implementer of standards should have access to essential IPRs.
